FSBC Ministries
Reaching beyond the Church walls with the gospel of Christ is the objective of the various organizations including Woman’s Missionary Society, Brotherhood, and Senior Ministry. The Prison Ministry, Mentoring, Scouts’ Ministry, Lunch in the Park, “First Saturdays at the Street” and The Storehouse for God are only few of the of the many intergenerational opportunities offered at Farish Street Baptist Church.
THE deacons
The primary role of the Deacon Ministry is to support the pastor in serving the congregation. We deliver communion to sick members, visit them in hospitals and homes, assist with baptisms, serve communion, and lead devotion.

THE Deaconess
We enhance the church's spiritual matters, support the Deacon Ministry, and other church ministries. We assist with baptism and communion on the first Sunday of each month, help prepare the communion table and deliver communion to sick and shut-in members

BROTHERHOOD
The Brotherhood is focused on engaging and encouraging men to grow their faith and leadership in the church and in the community.

WOMAN’S MISSIONARY SOCIETY
The Women's Missionary Society at Farish Street Baptist Church helps women find their God-given purpose through Bible teaching, fellowship, and community outreach.
We have six mission circles: Circle of Faith, C.A. Greer Circle, E. B. Topp Circle, Progressive Matrons, Royal Circle, and Young Matrons. The society aims to engage women of all ages in spiritual growth and to go into the community to serve the poor and disadvantaged.

MEDIA MINISTRY
The Media Ministry offers audio and visual assistance during Sunday worship services and special programs. We also provide a live streaming service for Sunday worship. Additionally, the ministry manages promotional and marketing activities for special programs and events.

MUSIC MINISTRY
The purpose of the Music Ministry at Farish Street Baptist Church is to lead the congregation in praise and worship of God through music.

SENIOR OUTREACH MINISTRY
The Senior Outreach Ministry is committed to supporting our senior members. Our mission is to ensure that the elderly in our congregation feel a sense of belonging and to address their unique needs through the provision of social activities and assistance.

The Ushers Ministry greets visitors, newcomers, and the congregation, making them feel welcome and attending to their needs.

The Youth Ministry’s purpose is to serve the Church through the youth in our congregation and in the community. We use music, dance, drama, and service to engage and involve our youth. The goal is to develop youth who have a passion for God and a give them a strong Christian foundation.
